Absorber Rods
China Electrical Contact produces AgInCd absorber rods with precise specification limits, which are used to control nuclear reaction in pressurized water reactors. Control rods are assembled into cluster arrays that cycle in and out of the reactor to regulate the absorption of neutrons emitted by the nuclear reaction.

Silver Chloride Strip
Silver chloride has superior energy and current density characteristics for use in variety of on demand, emergency, and environment conditioned applications including marine sonobuoys, life jackets, air-sea rescue equipment, emergency lighting, and weather balloons. A critical component in batteries utilized as single use primary cells with a long shelf life, silver chloride strip components can be dry stored until activated at the time of use by immersing in water, or simply adding water or an aqueous electrolyte.
